Level 3 Personal Training Diploma
Course Outline
The Level 3 Personal Training diploma is a nationally recognised qualification regulated by OFQUAL. This program is designed for individuals looking to start a career in personal training.
Duration
You can achieve your qualification in just 10 weeks. This interactive course combines in-person practical sessions with at-home theory-based learning.
In-Person Sessions
Practical sessions will be held at Patch Fitness gym in Guildford, every Sunday morning from 9AM - 1PM. This structure allows you to gain hands-on experience while balancing your studies at home.
You will also have the opportunity to shadow Patch coaches during their in-person coaching sessions to experience and learn their session delivery.
Eligibility
No prior experience or qualifications are necessary to register for the course. You must be above the age of 16.

Practical In-Person Sessions
10 weeks of in-person sessions to learn directly from your tutor.

You will receive a Personal Training Level 3 Diploma that is nationally regulated through OFQUAL and recognised by CIMPSA. This will give you all the requirements needed from insurance companies to issue you working insurance that is needed to work with clients.

Unlike many course providers, our course is run by active Personal Trainers who are currently delivering sessions day in day out to 100s of different clients.
We will educate you through the best practices that we have learnt during our time whilst running an industry leading personal training gym.
This is different from many online theory-based offerings where you won’t have access to a working gym environment.

The in-person course sessions will be held at Patch Fitness gym in Surrey.

No it doesn’t matter. Almost always, someone will have to miss out on some of the dates through no fault of their own. The course is designed to accommodate this, assuming you are able to keep up with the coursework, there is flexibility with the course if you have to miss sessions.

This does depend on the knowledge and experience of the individual, but we would estimate on average 4+ hours per week.

There are no entry requirements for the course. You must be above the age of 16, and fluent in English.
And of course, a passion for fitness would help!
