We braved Tough Mudder!

Last Sunday, our amazing team of 8 from Patch took on Tough Mudder for the first time - and LOVED it! Supported by the beautiful Jules as our official photographer and cheerleader, we took on 5 miles of hilly terrain and 12 obstacles to complete the course in a little over 1 hour and 40 minutes!

Although some obstacles were more challenging than others (you’ve might have heard Coach Laura referring to the ice bath as the worst experience of her life!!), we all got there in the end and felt mighty proud of ourselves!

What we all loved most about Tough Mudder was the camaraderie and team work needed to get each and every team member around the course and through the obstacles. Whether it was physical support to get up and over or through the obstacles, or verbal support to encourage each other to try something that scared us, we literally couldn’t have done it without each other!

And yes, there were some scrapes and bruises (and some seriously muddy shoes!), but mostly there was an amazing feeling of accomplishment.

We loved the experience so much, in fact, that we’re already planning to do Tough Mudder again next year but to take on the 10 mile + 20 obstacle challenge this time!

We’d love to take an even bigger team from Patch next year so if you want to commit now to being part of the fun and adventure that is Tough Mudder, consider registering for 2025 now while the fees are at their lowest!

Our 2025 Patch team will take on the 10 mile challenge on Sunday 11th May at 10am. Book in now - you won’t regret it!
